Block Printing Workshops

You too can learn to block print! Block printing is a wonderful medium as it employs three major steps, all of which are immensely therapeutic: design, carving and printing.

I love to teach block printing, and welcome students both new to the medium or who want to build on existing skills. I teach children (middleschool age and older) through adults; in private lessons, or small groups to large groups with a max size of 16 participants. Workshop content can be tailored to participant(s) interest.

Workshops are generally 2-2.5 hours long. Multi-day workshops can be arranged to learn more complex techniques.

Pricing: (all tools and supplies provided to borrow; participants take home art prints and block only). No additional materials fee.

1 participant (solo private lesson) $200

2 participants $150 each

3 or 4 participants $125 each

5 or more $100 each

Please reach out if you have a group larger than 8. I can offer a discount to non-profit groups.

Location: in your home or your own space with a sturdy table. I can also host solo students or small groups, in Alameda CA.
